Investigation 3 Mathematical Reflection

In this investigation, you used common factors and common multiples to help you solve problems. These questions will help you summarize what you have learned.

Answer these questions using our Mathematical Reflection Rubric as a guide. Once you are done you will need to respond to at least three other classmates posts with some constructive feedback or an extension of one of their ideas.

  1. Look at the four problems in this investigation. Explain how you can decide if finding common multiples or common factors is helpful in solving a problem.
  2. Describe how you can find the common factors and the greatest common factor of two numbers.
  3. Describe how you can find the common multiples and the least common multiple of two numbers.
